Game Of Thrones Author Will Kill Fans For $20,000

(PCM) Of course not literally, however for two deep-pocketed fans, one male and one female, Game Of Thrones author George R.R. Martin will write them into, and of course most likely kill them off in one of the upcoming volumes of Martin’s “A Song of Fire And Ice” book series. The two lucky fans shelled out $20,000 a piece for this unique opportunity and the money is going to a fantastic cause, as it will benefit a few charities supported by Martin which are Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary and the Food Depot of Santa Fe, N.M. There are additional prizes available based on the amount of your donation. One prize even consists of taking a helicopter ride with Martin himself to visit the wolf sanctuary. How awesome would that be! In other Game Of Thrones news, as we wind our way down to the final two episodes of this incredible season, it has just been revealed that Game Of Thrones has become the most popular series in HBO history. Definitely quite an honor, as it certainly appears that Game Of Thrones has finally been able to unseat The Sopranos as HBO’s top rated series. The next episode of Game Of Thrones … Continue reading

You can see the sneak peek below which features an exclusive Dave Grohl mission statement accompanied by the first passage of music to be unveiled from the as-yet-untitled eight Foo Fighters album. The Latest News On True Detective Season Two

(PCM) There have recently been a few details released about the upcoming second season of the HBO hit series “True Detective”. Show creator Nic Pizzolatto has opened up and confirmed some of the rumors that have been recently circulating the web in a new podcast interview with “To The Best Of Our Knowledge”. While the second season of “True Detective” has not been official confirmed, it has been confirmed by Pizzolatto that there will be three lead characters, which will be all-new to the series. Entertainment Weekly claims that they will most likely be two men and one female, but those details are only speculated at this time. Pizzolatto also confirmed that the setting for the second season will take place in California, but not Los Angeles. The area featured looks to be a bit more off-beat and they hope to capture the “psycho-sphere ambiance” much as they did with season one. The setting is rumored to be present day and again is speculated to consist of eight episodes all written by Pizzolatto. What will supposedly be different this season is that while season one episodes were all directed by Cary Fukunaga, season two will feature different directors for each episode.  There … Continue reading

Game Of Thrones: Another Wedding Leads To Another Shocking Death

**Spoiler Alert** Stop reading now if you have not seen Sunday night episode of HBO’s Game Of Thrones!  (PCM) Yet again it seems that weddings and Westeros don’t mix!  Last season viewers were witness to the horrific “red wedding” episode of Game Of Thrones where we lost beloved characters Robb Stark, his wife Talisa and mother Lady Catelyn Stark in a brutal surprise massacre. Now, season four gives us the “purple wedding”, as it has been dubbed by fans, during which television’s most hated villain the sadistic King Joffrey Baratheon finally met his fate. As much as we would like to be happy to see King Joffrey go, there is this tiny part of us that says ‘damn…who am I going to hate now’? Joffrey’s antics throughout the series as deplorable as they were made for some incredibly entertaining television. He was brilliantly portrayed by actor Jack Gleeson and was someone you absolutely adored to hate. Joffrey’s death occurred in such an unexpected way that at this point, we have not even learned who was his actual killer and what there motive may have been. Although with a character like Joffrey there were plenty to choose from! Putting the “purple … Continue reading
