New York Hotel Fines People For Bad Reviews

(PCM) Sounds like one New York area hotel is taking their hospitality standards to a whole new level. According to Page Six, the Union Street Guest House near the Catskills will fine couples who book weddings at their property the amount of $500 for every bad review posted online by their wedding guests.

When booking the venue for a wedding the hotels’ policy and right to charge a fine is outlined within the signed contract. The online policy reads “If you have booked the inn for a wedding or other type of event . . . and given us a deposit of any kind . . .… Full Story
