(MTV) MTV has announced the nominations for the 2014 “MTV Video Music Awards” airing LIVE from The Forum in Inglewood, CA on Sunday, August 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT via an innovative first-of-its-kind social media rollout on Snapchat. Global superstar Beyoncé, who surprised and delighted fans worldwide with the revolutionary release of her self-titled, critically acclaimed visual album earlier this year, leads the pack with an astounding eight nominations including “Video of the Year,” “Best Female” and “Best Choreography.” Eminem and Australian rapper Iggy Azalea received an impressive seven nominations each.
