(MTV) MTV has announced the nominations for the 2014 “MTV Video Music Awards” airing LIVE from The Forum in Inglewood, CA on Sunday, August 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT via an innovative first-of-its-kind social media rollout on Snapchat. Global superstar Beyoncé, who surprised and delighted fans worldwide with the revolutionary release of her self-titled, critically acclaimed visual album earlier this year, leads the pack with an astounding eight nominations including “Video of the Year,” “Best Female” and “Best Choreography.” Eminem and Australian rapper Iggy Azalea received an impressive seven nominations each. (PCM) I have to say that I was absolutely giddy after listening to the new album from Linkin Park and all I will thinking while listening to “The Hunting Party” is Linkin Park is back…they are finally back! Without a doubt this is a rock record and I, for one, was thrilled to see the band ditch the overly-processed sound of their last two albums and really return to their roots.

Found within “The Hunting Party” is an absolutely stellar mix of punk, rock, rap, and heavy metal all brilliantly executed and chock full of raw power and aggression.
