Smith was able to tap the vein of American pop culture with his characters and the rest is history. Last year many people who lived busy lives were forced to stay home due to Covid. Hollywood pretty much had to shut down. Many popular productions had to be halted, and we wait as a public to see what the future holds. Kevin Smith was home a lot just like the rest of us and had a lot of time to watch shows and movies. If you follow Smith on any of his social media platforms you know he is a big softie for a good story. Pretty much anything Star Wars or Marvel related that he watches will make him cry.
