AOTN: What is it like working with a major studio? DIMITRI LOGOTHETIS: You know, the majority of my work is independent. 75% independent? And I do about 25% of major studio stuff. Which is a longer road because you need to, you know, build your resume. You need to work at the studio, and the studio needs to agree. You get an actor, and maybe there not available. Nicolas Cage is known as an eccentric fella and a fine actor. For the latter part of the last ten years, Cage has been making cult like films that only he can deliver. These movies include Mandy, Willy’s Wonderland, Color Out Of Space, and Mom and Dad just to name a few. You can add Cage’s next film ‘Pig’ to that list. Cage will portray a truffle hunter that lives alone in the wilderness. The truffle hunter must return to his past in Portland, Oregon when his beloved foraging pig is kidnapped. The film was written and directed by Michael Sarnoski. The film was acquired by Neon Films in 2020 for a US release which will hit theater’s July 16th and will also star Alex Wolff.
