Sam Raimi Reveals A New Evil Dead Film Is In The Works

New York Comic-Con is underway in the city that never sleeps. This is the season to stay up late and watch scary movies, and if you are a fan of scary movies you have no doubt heard about or seen the Evil Dead films. Well, horror fans should be overjoyed to hear the news that broke earlier today. Sam Raimi was at NYCC promoting the new reboot of The Grudge, and that is where Raimi revealed to fans that a new Evil Dead film is in the works. Raimi is the creative mind and director behind the Evil Dead trilogy that took the world by storm all the way back in 1981. Raimi also revealed that Bruce Campbell who has played the infamous Ash in all three films and the Starz Tv show Ash Vs The Evil Dead will act as a producer on the film. AMC Announces The Walking Dead Renewal And The Return Of Lauren Cohan

Today, in front of more than five thousand New York Comic Con fans, AMC confirmed the renewal of The Walking Dead for an eleventh season and the return of Lauren Cohan, who plays fan favorite character Maggie Greene, as a season 11 series regular. The Walking Dead executive producers Scott M. Gimple and Angela Kang announced the news at the show’s annual NYCC panel, surprising fans by bringing out Cohan to join the show’s executive producers and cast on stage. The series’ renewal comes one day ahead of the show’s season 10 premiere on Sunday, October 6 at 9pm/8c. Over ten seasons, The Walking Dead remains the highest-rated series on ad-supported cable television and has given life to an expanding Universe that now includes the companion series Fear the Walking Dead, a new third series from Chief Content Officer Scott M. AMC Reveals First Look At Third Series In ‘Walking Dead’ Universe

AMC released first-look images from the upcoming third series in The Walking Dead Universe. The series will make its panel debut at New York Comic Con this Saturday, October 5 at 11:30am, with participants including Co-Creators Scott M. Gimple and Showrunner Matt Negrete, along with cast members Aliyah Royale, Alexa Mansour, Annet Mahendru, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston and Nico Tortorella. The third installment of the franchise will feature two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.
