We always love a good redemption story, so when it was brought to our attention that Burger King’s Subservient Chicken was back in action we could resist digging a little deeper and finding out just what happened after Subservient Chicken dropped out of the spotlight.
It was ten years ago when Subservient Chicken was at the very height of his popularity starring in advertisements for Burger King’s TenderCrisp campaign. I can’t lie. I am a true coffee addict. There is nothing more appealing to me that a steaming hot cup of coffee deliciousness to get me through a busy day (or night). (PCM) The magazine print industry has been in a steady decline over the past few years, with many magazines being forced to make tremendous cut-backs to avoid having to end up folding completely.
The latest magazine to be affected by cut-backs is the popular Ladies Home Journal, one of the nations oldest women’s magazines. The Meredith Corporation who owns the magazine has recently announced that they will be putting an end to all subscription services. Ladies Home Journal will also no longer be published monthly, but will instead by a quarterly publication and only available at newsstands.
The magazine launched back in 1883 and still currently boasts a circulation of 3.2 million, however that is not enough to keep it thriving.… Full Story

(PCM) Despite whatever rumors you may have seen circulating, it turns out the Hobby Lobby did not fire an employee for obtaining a divorce without company approval.
The story which was posted on The Daily Currant claimed that 33-year old Hobby Lobby employee Jennifer Silverton was terminated after she filed for divorce from her abusive husband of six years. The story claims that Silverton was terminated for reasons of “moral laxity” after upper management learned about the divorce proceedings.
The story goes on to say that Silverton never expected that filing for divorce would affect her job and was told it was for religious reasons.… Full Story

(PCM) In what we are certainly hoping is not an April Fools Day joke, new photos of the iPhone 6 have surfaced and they reveal a new slimmer design, rounded corners and a full screen display.
Most of the rumors that are currently circulating the net claim that the target release date for the iPhone 6 will be this September and it will most likely be called the iPhone Air.
The photos which are actually renderings from an Apple subcontractor feature a much thinner and more rounded design that could most easily be compared to the HTC One. What excites us the most is that the screen appears to finally reach the edges of the phone, which is something that iPhone users have complained about for quite some time.
