‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Trailer Premieres in Select Theaters on Friday

Star-Wars1(PCM) The hype for the J.J. Abrams helmed Star Wars reboot, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has been steadily mounting since the official cast was announced back in April of 2014.

The seventh installment in the Star Wars series, Star Wars: The Force Awakens won’t open in theaters for another year, but that hasn’t slowed the excitement from fans.

In an annoucnement that delighted Stars Wars and movie fans alike, director J.J. Abrams tweeted from the official Bad Robot Twitter account that 100 theaters around the nation would screen the 88-second teaser trailer on Friday, November 28.

The trailer will also appear on iTunes Movie Trailers on Friday, though a premiere time has yet to be specified.

The Official Cast of “Star Wars: Episode VII” Finally Announced!

(PCM) The official cast for the J.J. Abrams’ directed sequel to 1983′s Return of the Jedi was finally released today and there are quite a few familiar names alongside some new additions to the franchise.

Disney announced plans to continue the Star Wars franchise with a new trilogy about a year and half ago after acquiring George Lucas’ company Lucasfilm for a whooping $4.05 billion.

Star Wars: Episode VII will star John Boyega (Attack the Block), Daisy Ridley (Blue Season), Adam Driver (HBO’s Girls, Frances Ha), Oscar Isaac (Drive, Inside Llewwyn Davis), Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Domhnall Gleeson (True Grit, About Time), and Max von Sydow (The Exorcist, Shutter Island) will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), and Kenny Baker (R2-D2).

Star Wars Themed Funeral Fulfills A Four-Year Olds Final Wish

(PCM) Jack Robinson, the 4-year old who tragically lost his battle with an inoperable brain tumor, had his final wish granted in the form of a Star Wars themed funeral.

His family and friends gathered together to make his final wish a reality, as his body was carried in a Star Wars coffin by horse drawn carriage flanked on all side by storm troopers and the word “Jedi” spelled out in a gorgeous floral arrangement on the side. Other floral arrangement included a light saber, and replicas of R2D2 and Yoda.

Inside the church the brass band played Luke Skywalker’s theme and the program read “Master Jack Robinson, joined the force 1st April 2014.

Prior to his passing young Master Robinson had several other wishes granted including a hospital meet and greet with Gary Barlow, host of the UK version of The X Factor and lead vocalist for Take That. … Read the rest…
