(PCM) Recently, two couples were able to share both their love for each other and their love of bacon when they both had their wedding ceremonies at the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival in Des Moines, Iowa.
Tricia Snider and Tom Watson were the first couple to wed at the festival on Saturday and then Craig Rouch and April Davila said their “I do’s” at the very same festival a little while later.
The ceremonies were officiated by former Big Brother contestant and host of the Travel Channel show “Bacon Paradise” Adam Poch. Poch, himself, had a bacon themed wedding and jumped at the opportunity to unite more bacon lovers into wedded bliss.
The couples wed in a bacon themed chapel that overlooked a floor full of vendor below who were selling various types of bacon-filled food. The brides carried bacon rose bouquets and guests were able to nosh on bacon-wrapped pork loins. The couples vows even hilarious added the line to stay together “in good times and bacon”, but other than that addition the ceremony was kept fairly traditional.
