(PCM) Academy Award-winning composer and Nine Inch Nails front-man Trent Reznor has graced the world with a preview of his haunting score for David Fincher’s crime thriller, Gone Girl, two weeks shy 
of the film’s October 3 release.
Earlier this week Reznor debuted the preview on the official Nine Inch Nails site. Trent Reznor wrote the score alongside second time co-collaborator Atticus Ross.
This marks the third time that the two worked have with David Finch; 2010’s The Social Network, which won them the 2011 Academy Award for Best Original Score, and 2011’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Gone Girl – directed by David Fincher and based upon the global bestseller by Gillian Flynn – unearths the secrets at the heart of a modern marriage.
On the occasion of his fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) reports that his beautiful wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), has gone missing.
Under pressure from the police and a growing media frenzy, Nick’s portrait of a blissful union begins to crumble.
