(PCM) Lionsgate released the official trailer for the The Age of Adaline, a romance-drama starring Blake Lively as an ageless beauty, isolated by her inability to grow old.
One of the strongest bonds among all of humankind is that time affects us all. Unless struck with a tragedy, most people grow old, experiencing the milestones and changes that come with the passage of time.
For Adaline, this missed experience leaves her with an unfulfilled existence, hungry for love and a real shot at living with meaning.
Director of The Vicious Kind and Celeste & Jesse Forever Lee Toland Krieger helms the PG-13 rated romance-drama with a screenplay by J. Mills Goodloe (Pride, The Best of Me) and Salvador Paskowitz (Nic & Tristan Go Mega Dega).
Starring alongside Blake Lively in The Age of Adaline are Harrison Ford, Ellen Burstyn, Kathy Baker, Amanda Crew, and Michiel Huisman.
The Age of Adaline opens in theaters nationwide starting April 24, 2015. Visit the official Facebook page for The Age of Adaline for more info and updates and watch the official trailer after the official synopsis.
After miraculously remaining 29 years old for almost eight decades, Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively) has lived a solitary existence, never allowing herself to get close to anyone who might reveal her secret. But a chance encounter with charismatic philanthropist Ellis Jones (Michiel Huisman) reignites her passion for life and romance. When a weekend with his parents (Harrison Ford and Kathy Baker) threatens to uncover the truth, Adaline makes a decision that will change her life forever.
