(PCM) Thanks to AMC theaters, you can now see Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi adventure, Interstellar, an unlimited amount of times! Or as many times as you can watch the 2 hour and 49 minute film during its remaining run in AMC theaters.
Paramount Pictures teamed up with AMC theaters in an unconventional move to allow AMC Stubs members to purchase an Interstellar Unlimited Ticket, giving them access to unlimited screenings of the film.
AMC Stubs members can purchase the tickets at their local AMC box offices, ranging in price from $19.99 to $34.99. Members who have already purchased an Interstellar ticket can upgrade to an Unlimited Ticket for $14.99.
After purchasing the Unlimited Ticket, AMC Stubs members will receive commemorative Interstellar pass, granting them access to watch any screening of Interstellar in any AMC theater nationwide.
Grossing over $320 million worldwide, Interstellar follows a group of explorers led by Matthew McConaughey who, in the search for a new home planet for the human race, make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.
Starring alongside Matthew McConaughey in Interstellar are Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Ellen Burstyn, John Lithgow, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Wes Bentley, Bill Irwin, Mackenzie Foy, Topher Grace and David Gyasi.
Interstellar currently has a certified fresh rating of 73% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes with a critic consensus of: “Interstellar represents more of the thrilling, thought-provoking, and visually resplendent filmmaking moviegoers have come to expect from writer-director Christopher Nolan, even if its intellectual reach somewhat exceeds its grasp.”
Written and directed by Christopher Nolan along with his brother, co-writer Jonathan Nolan, Interstellar opened in U.S. theaters on November 7, 2014.
