Marilyn Manson has canceled nine shows of his Heaven Upside Down tour following an on-stage incident Saturday night (Sept. 30th), where Manson was injured after a stage prop fell on top of him crushing him to the ground, while he was playing at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. “Marilyn Manson is being forced to cancel several of his October dates on his forthcoming U.S. tour,” the singer’s representative said in a statement. “On Saturday night, the legendary performer suffered an injury on stage towards the end of his set at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom causing him to cut the show short. He was treated for the injury at a local hospital and will be recuperating at home in Los Angeles. The shows from Boston, October 2nd through Houston, October 14th will be rescheduled for a later date. Manson hopes to return to the stage soon, more details on upcoming shows to follow.”
This cancellation includes his Rock Allegiance Festival appearance that was scheduled for October 7th in Camden, NJ at BB&T Pavilion. Manson’s next performance is expected to be on October 15th at Grand Prairie’s Freaker’s Ball in Texas if his injury heals in time for the show, we will keep you updated on the situation.
Manson’s new album Heaven Upside Down, will be released on October 6th. On this record he reunites with producer and film composer Tyler Bates following an incredible collaboration on Manson’s critically acclaimed 2015 release of, The Pale Emperor.
