Just coming off the filming of the ever-so-creepy remake of “The Haunting of Hill House”, the news has been revealed that 23-year old actress Victoria Pedretti will be starring as Joe’s new obsession for the second season of “You”.
Pedretti played Nell Crane in “The Haunting of Hill House” and certainly did a fantastic job of keeping fans on the edge of their seats. The death of her character was key in the heart-racing conclusion of season one of Mike Flanagan’s successful Netflix reboot.
Netflix purchased the broadcasting rights of Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti’s “You”, which initially aired on Lifetime, and because of the international success of the show, Netflix ordered a second and exclusive season.
Victoria Pedretti will be the new target of the psychopath and stalker Joe (Penn Badgley) who is about to move to LA after what he did in New York. The actress will play Love Quinn, an aspiring chef working as the manager in a high-end grocery. The character is described as interesting, preserved from social media and the concept of personal branding. Love is also devastated with grief which changed her life, a feeling through which she will identify to Joe.
Pedretti will also soon be making an appearance on the big screen as well, as she is slated to have a role in director Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood”.
