Five Brand New Sony Pictures Films Are Leaked Online

Fury1(PCM) We are sure that Sony is scrambling to find out whoever was behind the recent leak where five of the studios brand-new, unreleased films were uploaded online and have already been downloaded millions of times.

Thus far all that is known is that cyber pirates hacked into Sony Entertainment and shared at least five new films, all of which are water-marked by the studio and uploaded them to various filing sharing websites.

A spokesperson for Sony claims that they are treating this incident as a criminal matter and are currently working very closely with law enforcement officers to locate the guilty party.

The film’s that were leaked include the Brad Pitt war-drama “Fury” which is still currently in theaters, the previously unreleased remake of “Annie” which is set to hit theaters in three weeks, along with “Mr. Turner”, “Still Alice” and “To Write Love On Her Arms”. The studio … Read more

Journalist Suing “American Hustle” Producers For Defamation And More

(PCM) We are sure by now that many, if not all, of you have seen the award-winning film “American Hustle” and of course may recall the microwave scene that take place between actress Jennifer Lawrence and actor Bradley Cooper in the kitchen.

Well, it appears that brief scene has the potential to cost the studio some big bucks due to a recent lawsuit filed by a journalist whose name was referenced in the scene talking about the dangers of microwave use.

The journalist, Paul Brodeur, has filed a lawsuit against Atlas Entertainment, Annapurna Pictures and Columbia Pictures claiming libel, slander, defamation, and false light due to his name being referenced in the scene.

Man Robs Four Subway Restaurants Over Failed “Jared Diet”

(PCM) A young man by the name of Zachary Rapheal Torrance was arrested in an Alabama Walmart after it was discovered that he was behind the armed robberies that occurred at four different Subway restaurant locations.

When Torrance was arrested and brought in for questioning he admitted to the robberies and told officers that he was angry because he had tried Subway’s famous “Jared Diet” and it didn’t work for him, so he in turn wanted his money back. Officers were not sure whether or not Torrance was being serious, but either way he is now in quite a bit of legal trouble.… Full Story

Man Mistakenly Texts Probation Officer Looking For Weed

(PCM) A Georgia man has landed himself back in jail again after his mistakenly sent a text message to his probation officer looking for weed.

Alvin Cross Jr. admits that he was under the impression that he was texting his drug dealer when he sent a message that stated “You have some weed?”. It was only after he hit send and it was too late did he realize that the text had been sent out to his probation officer instead.

Cross was on probation after he was sentenced to 15 years in prison for an armed robbery that occurred back in 2006.… Full Story

Delaware Man Files A Lawsuit Over Pink Panties

(PCM) Seems that PCM’s home state of Delaware is good for making some oddball headlines. A Dover man has recently filed a lawsuit stemming from an incident that took place back in 2012 during which he awoke from a surgical procedure to find himself wearing a pair of women’s pink panties.

The man was undergoing a colonoscopy at Delaware Surgery Center in the city of Dover, he also happened to work there at the time and the pink panty incident was a prank set up by his co-workers.

The 32-year old man, by the name of Andrew Walls, claims that he suffered severe emotional distress due to the incident and claims that he lost his job as a result.… Full Story

(PCM) Hot on the heels of the celebrity nude photo leak,which the internet had dubbed The Fappening, it seems that hackers have now found a way to access nearly 200,000 private Snapchat photos and videos and distribute them online.

Being called, “The Snappening” the hackers discovered away to gain access to the photos and video without breaching the app’s servers, but instead went through a third party site called SnapSaved.com.

SnapSaved allows users to log into their Snapchat accounts and save incoming messages to their computers, which in a way defeats the purpose of the Snapchat app which is supposed to destroy photos a few seconds after they appear and leave no trace of their existence.… Full Story

Woman Sues Sperm Bank For Having A Mixed-Race Child

(PCM) An Ohio woman named Jennifer Cramblett is suing a sperm-bank in the Chicago area for $50,000 claiming that she received the wrong sperm donation and became pregnant with a child who was a different race.

We would like to think that these types of situations were behind us, however Cramblett, who expressed unconditional love for her daughter, is wrestling with the decision to move out of her predominantly white Ohio neighborhood for the psychological well-being of her child.

Cramblett, who is a lesbian, says the she and her partner found out that she was given the wrong sperm donation when she was about four months pregnant.… Full Story

Woman Accuses Disney Of Stealing Her Life Story For The Movie “Frozen”

(PCM) A woman by the name of Isabella Tanikumi is suing Disney for the amount of $250 million claiming that they stole excerpts of her life story for their mega-hit film “Frozen”.

Tanikumi, who is originally from Peru, says that “Frozen” pulls directly from her life and her book titled “Yearnings of the Heart” which was published back in 2010, which is her autobiography about her immigration from Peru to America.

Officially Disney has claimed that “Frozen” is based off of the Hans Christian Anderson story “Snow Queen”, however Tanikumi feels that the film is direct plagiarism of her own work. She only recently discovered the similarities after purchasing and watching the film with her young daughter.

Tanikumi, whose real name is Amy Gonzalez, has filed a copy right infringement suit in New Jersey and we have to admit that her story does share a few similarities with the Disney film … Read more
