(PCM) The news has sadly been confirmed that singer Joe Cocker has passed away at the age of 70. According to his agent Barrie Marshall, Cocker has died after battling an undisclosed illness. It has been speculated that he was undergoing treatment for lung cancer.

The death hoax posting was designed to appear as if it legitimately came from an MSNBC report, however it is not true and Axl Rose is very much alive and well.
The people behind the hoax have no affiliation with the actual MSNBC website and are in the business of using shocking trickery to cause people to click on a completely fake news story. Wayne Richard Wells was best known by his stage name Wayne Static and was the enigmatic former frontman and namesake of Static-X, who later forged a successful solo career. Wayne was scheduled to co-headline tours with Powerman 5000 and Drowning Pool over the next several months.
According to his publicity team at FiXT Publicity, no additional information about his passing is available at this time. However, it seems that many of his known associates believe his passing may be the result of an accidental drug overdose.

(PCM) It has been revealed via the Survivor Facebook page that the lead vocalist for the 80′s band, Jimi Jamison, has passed away at the age of 63.
Jamison’s immediate cause of death is not known at this time and his fellow band mates shared their sadness and memories of Jamison via social media saying “The entire Survivor family is very shocked and saddened by the passing of our brother Jimi Jamison. Our thoughts, love and prayers go out to his family and friends.”

(PCM) A very special public memorial service was held this past weekend in Richmond, VA to honor the life of GWAR frontman Davie Brockie a.k.a. Oderus Urungus. Fans, friends and family gathered together at Hadad’s Lake to pay their last respects and share their memories. Speakers at the memorial included Jello Biafra and Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe, who both shared incredibly touching tributes and fun stories about their memories of Brockie. There were plenty of moments of laughter throughout the tears.
After the memorial service, Brockie’s infamous Oderus Urungus costume was set ablaze on Hadad’s Lake in a traditional Viking Funeral Pyre. For those in attendance it was an incredibly intense moment and an incredibly fitting way to say goodbye … Read More…
