(PCM) An Ohio woman named Jennifer Cramblett is suing a sperm-bank in the Chicago area for $50,000 claiming that she received the wrong sperm donation and became pregnant with a child who was a different race.
We would like to think that these types of situations were behind us, however Cramblett, who expressed unconditional love for her daughter, is wrestling with the decision to move out of her predominantly white Ohio neighborhood for the psychological well-being of her child.
Cramblett, who is a lesbian, says the she and her partner found out that she was given the wrong sperm donation when she was about four months pregnant.… Full Story
(PCM) A woman by the name of Isabella Tanikumi is suing Disney for the amount of $250 million claiming that they stole excerpts of her life story for their mega-hit film “Frozen”.
Tanikumi, who is originally from Peru, says that “Frozen” pulls directly from her life and her book titled “Yearnings of the Heart” which was published back in 2010, which is her autobiography about her immigration from Peru to America.
Officially Disney has claimed that “Frozen” is based off of the Hans Christian Anderson story “Snow Queen”, however Tanikumi feels that the film is direct plagiarism of her own work. She only recently discovered the similarities after purchasing and watching the film with her young daughter.
Tanikumi, whose real name is Amy Gonzalez, has filed a copy right infringement suit in New Jersey and we have to admit that her story does share a few similarities with the Disney film … Read more
(PCM) A recent court deposition has shed light on quite a few revelations about singer Robin Thicke that fans may not have been aware. Thicke’s deposition was part of an on-going court battle between Thicke, Pharrell Williams and T.I. and the children of the late Marvin Gaye who claim that the trio’s hit song “Blurred Lines” infringes on the copyright of their father’s song “Got To Give It Up”.
In his deposition, Thicke admitted that he cannot recall most of the recording process for “Blurred Lines” because he was completely intoxicated at the time. He claims that he was taking Vicodin and was drinking alcohol when he showed up at the studio to record the track.

(PCM) The surviving members of the Beastie Boys have come out victorious being awarded $1.7 million dollars from their lawsuit against Monster Energy Drink.
The lawsuit was initially filed by the Beastie Boys back in 2012 after they discovered that Monster Energy Drink was illegally using the group’s music in a promotional video. The group were initially suing for $2.5 million for copyright infringement and false endorsement. Lawyers for Monster Energy Drink claim that they are planning to appeal the verdict.
