The show is an off shoot from Gunn’s 2021’s movie, The Suicide Squad which see’s Peacemaker being one of the villain’s. And the show is the aftermath of what goes down with his character in that film. Netflix Win’s With Squid Games

If you want heartbreak and gore look no farther than the hit show on Netflix, Squid Games which is now streaming. The show is now rated number #1 on Netflix and that is a good thing for anyone who is hating the fact that Netflix is really not producing any good horror/drama. Hopefully that all changes and shows the streaming service that people are really into this stuff. Squid Games revolves around a South Korean survival game centers on a contest where 456 players, drawn from different walks of life but each deeply in debt, play a set of children’s games with deadly penalties for losing. With A Mix Of Comedy And Drama Reservation Dogs Is A Perfect Match

The hit comedy show Reservation Dogs has all ready been renewed for a second season. The show premiered in early August on FX and Hulu. The show was created by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi and revolves around four indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma, as they commit crimes and fight it out all in effort to get to California. The cast of young actors do a great job. The cast includes Devery Jacobs as Elora, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai as Bear Smallhill, Lane Factor as Cheese, and Paulina Alexis as Willie Jack. Each character on the show has a story to tell and the casting is great. Comedy heavyweights Bobby Lee (Mad Tv, Bad Friends Podcast) and Bill Burr (The Mandalorian, F is For Family) make special cameos. The show deals with a lot of things from growing up in a rural town, poverty, racial inequality, and even suicide. And the comedy in the show helps balance out the sometimes dark subject matter. Music is another great thing in the show. Each episode seems to end with the perfect song that the …

HBO’s Tiger Woods Documentary Cuts Through The Brush Revealing The Truth About The Celebrity Golfer (And It Ain’t All Pretty)

While honestly not being the biggest sports fan, especially when it comes to professional golf, one player in particular quickly became a household name and that is Tiger Woods. Even if you have never followed a game of golf in your life, you have most certainly heard the name Tiger Woods and how he came to dominate the sport at such a young age, but as we have learned by watching HBO’s new two-part documentary “Tiger” that domination certainly came with a hefty price. As quickly as one can rise, they can fall just as fast and things can get ugly very quickly! HBO’s documentary is based upon the book “Tiger” written by Armen Keteyian and Jeff Benedict. Keteyian is also one of the executive producers for the HBO two-part series. The series immediately delves into Tiger’s relationship with his father Earl Woods, who was without a doubt an incredible driving force in Tiger’s rise to golf greatness. From the time he was, a small child Earl had a plan and a vision for Tiger and absolutely nothing was going …

Esther Smith, Rafe Spall Detail New Apple TV+ Series ‘Trying’

Our newest TV obsession is the new Apple TV+ British comedy series “Trying” starring Esther Smith, Rafe Spall, and BAFTA award-winning actress Imelda Staunton. In “Trying,” all Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall) want is a baby—but it’s the one thing they just can’t have. How are they going to fill the next 50 years if they can’t start a family? After ruling out every other option, Nikki and Jason decide to adopt and are confronted by a world of bewildering new challenges. With their dysfunctional friends, screwball family, and chaotic lives, will the adoption panel agree that they’re ready to be parents? “Trying” is written by Andy Wolton and directed by Jim O’Hanlon (“Catastrophe,” “The Punisher,” ”A Touch Of Cloth”), and is produced by BBC Studios. We found ourselves immediately engrossed in the lives of Nikki and Jason and continued to root for them throughout all of their trials and tribulations over the course of season one. One of our main complaints with a lot of comedy series is that many of the jokes or comedic moments feel …

Killing Eve Season 3 Off To A Slow But Strong Start

The third season of the hit BBC America series “Killing Eve” picks up sometime after the events of the season two finale, which left main protagonist Eve Polastri’s(Sandra Oh) survival in limbo after being shot by Villanelle (Jodie Comer). Obviously, we learn quite quickly that Eve survived the ordeal, but the question remains at what cost? It was a bit confusing that season three immediately jumped straight into the present time without giving us any glimpse at what Eve, and Villanelle for that matter, went through after the events of season two finale. It was almost as if we hopped right into the middle of a new storyline without any of those details. For instance, who found Eve? What was the healing process like for her? How did they keep her survival a secret from Villanelle? And also, just how much time has actually passed? Those questions aside, the first two episodes were solid but did not move at the pace we’ve come to expect from “Killing Eve”, it was not until the third episode that we found ourselves once …

Freeform’s ‘Party Of Five’ Reboot Puts A Fresh Spin On Original Concept

Being a huge fan of the original “Party Of Five” series which aired on FOX for six seasons from 1994 to 2000 we were thrilled to learn that the series was going to get a reboot on Freeform with a fresh twist. After having a chance to check out the all-new “Party Of Five” we were thrilled to see that the reboot definitely pays proper homage to the original series, however, it manages to tackle many topics, namely immigration, that play a major part in our current political climate today. Freeform’s “Party Of Five” stars Brandon Larracuente, Niko Guardado, Emily Tosta, and Elle Paras Legaspi as the five Acosta children who are left to fend for themselves after their parents are deported back to Mexico. This is the major difference between the new reboot and the original series in which the parent characters were killed and the children of varying ages were left to take care of themselves. In the premiere episode, we are introduced to the entire Acosta family who owns a restaurant and their five children range in …

USA Network’s ‘Dare Me’ Will Be Your Newest TV Obsession

When we first heard the premise for the upcoming USA Network series “Dare Me” which will premiere on December 29th, we had our doubts about just how well this series would be able to hold its ground against the many other suspense/thriller series out there in the television landscape these days, and “Dare Me” left us pleasantly surprised! We seriously could not stop watching!  “Dare Me” became our newest television obsession and we think that it will be yours as well! The series is based upon author Megan Abbott’s best-selling novel by the same name, and Abbott also serves as showrunner alongside Gina Fattore. Peering behind the all-American facade, “Dare Me” dives into the cutthroat world of competitive high school cheerleading and the extreme lengths, both physically and psychologically that these young women will put themselves through in order to get ahead. The series stars Herizen Guardiola, Marlo Kelly, and Willa Fitzgerald (a fan favorite from the “Scream” franchise) and these actors do an impeccable job of drawing us in and making us care about these characters and their dilemma’s …

M. Night Shyamalan Reveals Details About Upcoming Apple TV+ Series ‘Servant’

Apple TV+ is truly giving us something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving with the release of their brand new psychological thriller “Servant” on November 28th. The series is directed and executive produced by Academy-Award nominated director M. Night Shyamalan and was created by British Academy of Film and Television Arts nominated executive producer and writer Tony Basgallop. We have had the chance to preview “Servant” and it is without a doubt in our opinion one of the very best new series to debut this year. Each and every episode left us on the edge of our seats with so many twists and turns it was like a psychological thrill ride. We enjoyed every moment spent with this series which is chock full of both unspeakable tragedy and engaging mystery. Just when you think you’ve got it figured out, guess what? Bam! There is another complete twist in a different direction and you should always be aware that not everything is at it seems. Beginning November 28, the first three episodes of “Servant” will be available to watch exclusively on …
