After five decades as America’s top rock band, Aerosmith are saying farewell. The band announced their Peace Out Tour on Monday, a final 40-date trek across North America to bring their storied career to an end. The tour kicks off on September 2, 2023 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, and wraps up on January 26, 2024 at Centre Bell in Montreal. The Black Crowes will serve as special guests for the entire trek. Check out the full tour itinerary below.

“It’s not goodbye it’s PEACE OUT,” Aerosmith stated. “Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives”

Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 5 at 10am local time HERE. The tour will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Packages vary but include a premium reserved ticket, a personal photo opportunity with band members, limited edition merchandise and more. For more information, visit Aerosmith.com/VIP.

“I think it’s about time,” guitarist Joe Perry said. “It’s kind of a chance to celebrate the 50 years we’ve been out there. You never know how much longer everybody’s going to be healthy to do this. It’s been a while since we’ve actually done a real tour. We did that run in Vegas, which was great. It was fun, but [we’re] kind of anxious to get back on the road.”

“We’re going to open up Pandora’s box one last time to present our fans with the Peace Out Tour,” frontman Steven Tyler said, referencing the band’s 1991 compilation box set. “Be there or be aware as we bring all the toys out of the attic. Get ready!”

While the initial itinerary has been confirmed, Aerosmith haven’t ruled out the possibility of adding more dates to the trek.

“It’s the final farewell tour, but I have a feeling it will go on for a while,” Perry says. “But, I don’t know how many times we’ll be coming back to the same cities. It would very possibly be the last time.”

Drummer Joey Kramer has decided not to take part in the band’s upcoming final tour. While he is still considered part of the group, Kramer took a leave of absence from the band’s Vegas residency last year to “focus his his attention on his family and health” and will continue to sit out the band’s final run.” Drummer John Douglas will continue to fill in for Kramer during the upcoming Peace Out Tour.

Aerosmith stated, “While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers recently wrapped up their landmark Deuces Are Wild Residency in Las Vegas last summer, and played a special 50th anniversary show at Fenway Park last September. Now, it looks like fans around the globe may finally be getting to witness the celebrations for themselves.

Aerosmith are the best-selling American rock band of all time. Selling over 150 million records worldwide, they have 12 multi-platinum certified albums under their belt. Throughout their career, have garnered four GRAMMY® Awards, six American Music Awards, and ten MTV Video Music Awards. In 1999, Walt Disney World launched the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, the band’s very own theme park attraction. In 2001, they performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
