Josh Rivedal’s book begins with a synopsis of his childhood and his strained relationship with his dad. It moves forward quickly to the divorce of his parents and then comes even more quickly to his dad’s suicide. Josh handles this part of the book with a sense of dark humor. The humor is never disrespectful; it is honest in its telling. Walken To Play Hook

(PCM) Last year NBC brought back live musical theater with it’s December production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC. This year NBC will again provide us with another musical classic Peter Pan on December 4th. It has been reported that Christopher Walken has signed on to play Captain Hook in this classic tale of the boy who doesn’t grow up. It has yet to be announced who will take the iconic part of Peter Pan. But NBC has promised it will stick to theater tradition and the part will be played by a woman. Some of the stars who have played Peter were Mary Martin in the original musical cast. Sandy Duncan in the 1980s, and Kathy Rigby in the 1990s.

Popular McHale’s Navy Star Bob Hastings Dies

(PCM) Bob Hastings (April 18, 1925 to June 30, 2014) Died in his home after a long battle with prostate cancer. The Actor was best known as the bumbling henchman Lt. Carpenter on the popular sit-com McHale’s Navy. Early in his career Hastings had the title role of Archie Andrews in the radio version Archie the well loved comic book character.
