We have been waiting for months, and this past Thursday, we got a first look at Netflix and Kevin Smith’s, Masters of the Universe: Revelation. And we can’t wait for the show to hit Netflix this July. Smith has been talking about the show for more than a year. He is has been dropping hints about the feel and vibe of the show, and yesterday we got a first look. After watching the teaser, it’s plain to see that this show is a must for any fan of the show from the 80s. The animation and character look on point, and I’m super excited for this show to premiere. And there is an all-star voice cast, including Mark Hamill as Skeletor. The Mattel company first released the He-Man action figure back in the early 80s. Filmation Animation Studios developed the backstory of He-man. The toy soon became the first of its kind and became a syndicated television show. But Garris has been interviewing people in the filmmaking business for year’s. And if you get a chance please check out his past interviews with legends like Wes Craven ,David Cronenberg, and many more. Kevin Smith is the latest to sit down with Garris to discuss everything from his early days as an indie filmmaker to his near death heart attack. A heart attack that Garris admitted during the interview that he could relate too. This was my first time hearing anything like this had even happened to Garris, and I’m glad both men are still here telling tales for the world to see. I could listen to Garris and Smith talk for hours. I greatly admire both storytellers, because they are like the great Oz of movie making pulling back the curtain of filmmaking and showing how its all done. And almost every time I listen too them they are not afraid to tell the …
Kevin Smith has been making films for over twenty five years and is still going strong. Smith is well versed in front and behind the camera. Smith along with his best pal Jason Mewes have been portraying Jay and Silent Bob since 1994 when Smith made his directorial debut with Clerks. Smith was able to tap the vein of American pop culture with his characters and the rest is history. Last year many people who lived busy lives were forced to stay home due to Covid. Hollywood pretty much had to shut down. Many popular productions had to be halted, and we wait as a public to see what the future holds. Kevin Smith was home a lot just like the rest of us and had a lot of time to watch shows and movies. If you follow Smith on any of his social media platforms you know he is a big softie for a good story. Pretty much anything Star Wars or Marvel related that he watches will make him cry. Even though Smith may cry a lot, but …

For forty-plus years now Mark Hamill has been a household name. Hamill’s work in Star Wars as Luke Skywalker the apprentice turned Jedi master was box office gold and inspired a generation of future storytellers including Kevin Smith, but more on that later. Mark Hamill might be known as a Jedi, but his voice has found the Darkside, and he has been making quite the impact as a voice actor. Hamill started voicing Joker all the way back in the early ’90s. The Joker is quite possibly Batman’s greatest enemy. And fans seemed to be overjoyed to have Hamill take the voice and give it’s his take. Then in 2019 horror fans and the world alike were shocked to hear that Hamill would be the voice of Chucky. Yes, everyone’s favorite knee-high serial killer from the 80’s that scared me, and little kids everywhere. This knew Chucky was not in the same realm of the Don Mancini creation, but an entire new adaption. Fans were mixed about the new adaption but were happy to see Hamill’s name attached. Now let’s …
