(PCM) Two of Sweden’s premier metal acts, In Flames and Opeth are co-headlining a North American tour with Portland Oregon’s Red Fang opening. On December 17 they performed in Philadelphia a The Electric Factory. Having seen Red Fang headline a tour just last spring, it was a little surprising to see them open, there wasn’t even a local warm up band. They went on while most people were still getting frisked at the doors, which is a shame because they are an incredible band.
In Flames, one of Sweden’s most popular metal acts are touring in support of their eleventh studio album Siren Charms which was released in September. They put on an awesome, energetic performance, they played … Read More…

(PCM) Many were curious just how GWAR and the scumdogs of the universe would survive after the loss of their leader Oderus Urungus but I can say that his spirit was very much alive and well during the GWAR Eternal Tour as it slayed its’ way across the nation.
After being sucked through a hole in the space/time continuum Lord Blothar has now found himself thrust on stage fronting the almighty GWAR and he certainly managed to pull it off without a hitch. Well, maybe that is not entirely true … he did have to deal with his sister from a distant future the sexy breast-blood spewing Vulvatron.
The tour overall focused on GWAR’s search for their lost leader Oderus and they payed homage to … Read More…

Tuesday evening at the TLA in Philadelphia started off with an up and coming local band Enstride. These are the nicest most humble group of guys you will ever meet. They came out to the audience after their set and spoke with as many people as they could as well invited the audience to come and hang out with them. Just a great group of guys with an amazing future ahead of them, check them out if you get the chance.
Up next was 3 Pill Morning. All wearing ties and dress shirts. Self described as anthemic rock, which seems to be is quite accurate. The band has a great stage presence. Jeff Stebbins very charismatic … Read More…

(PCM) Words can not even begin to describe just how excited we were to get a chance to attend Fleetwood Mac’s recent show at a very sold-out Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.
The band’s nearly three-hour performance was flawless and it was a true gift for fans to be able to experience the band’s classic line-up back together once again. There is something about witnessing Fleetwood Mac performing together on-stage that is simply magical and the show was truly hypnotizing from beginning to end.
Fleetwood Mac has a a decades spanning career and their set list was chock full of fan favorites that included set opener “The Chain”, “You Make Loving Fun”, “Second Hand News”, “Rihannon”, “Landslide”, “Go Your Own Way” and many many … Read More…

(PCM) A few weeks ago we attended The Shindig Music Festival in Baltimore, MD! The festival was an epic showcase that included some of the most hard-working and diverse bands currently in the scene. The line-up featured artists such as Jane’s Addiction, Rise Against, Gogol Bordello, Clutch, Halestorm, The Bots just to name a few.
The festival celebrated a sense of unity among both the artists performing and their fans. The music from each of the band’s performing in some way speaks to the soul of the everyday person and without a doubt we can all find ways in which we relate,.
During The Shindig we were able to catch up with Grammy-winning rockers Halestorm to discuss the band’s festival performance, work on their upcoming … Read More…

(PCM) This weekend’s New York Comic Con has been quite the adventure and we were thrilled to cap off our Saturday evening with a performance from X Japan, which marked the band’s largest ever headlining performance at the illustrious Madison Square Garden in the heart of NYC.
Witnessing X Japan and the always fabulous Yoshiki commandeer the stage was pure magic and enlightening to the senses. There were times that I wasn’t truly sure what I was watching, but all I know is that I was loving every moment. X Japan’s musical style could best be described as a musical mosaic of sorts with the blending of vocal style and instrumentation form a wide variety of both styles and genres with the heart and soul … Read More…

(PCM) I was recently out at The Shindig Festival which was held in Balitmore, MD and had a chance to catch up with Clutch vocalist Neil Fallon.
We spoke in-depth about the band’s latest album release, the phenomenal “Earth Rocker”. I expressed to Neil just how much we had enjoyed the album on vinyl, which I highly recommend that everyone check out given the opportunity.
Based out of Maryland, the band tore up the stage at The Shindig and were a perfect choice to be part of the line-up that featured an eclectic mix of artists such as Jane’s Addiction, Gogol Bordello, Rise Against, Halestorm and more.
All of the bands playing, Clutch included, share a certain spirit that connects with everyday people and that … Read More…
